ENERGY-BOOSTER
Cordyceps Sinensis, commonly known as Chinese caterpillar fungus, is found in alpine pastures of the Himalayas. Its name results from its mixed morphology – a fungus head riding a caterpillar body. In winter, a parasitic fungus penetrates the caterpillar of the swift moth underground, and in summer, it burst out of it. Despite its gory origin, it is highly valued in traditional Chinese medicine to treat fatigue, sickness, kidney disease, and low sex drive.
As an energy booster that cannot be grown in a lab, herbal supplements containing Cordyceps Sinensis have grown in popularity worldwide.
